Diet is the amount of food consumed by a person or a particular organism. The types of diets is strongly influenced by the origin of individual background or faith of a particular community. Although people are basically omnivorous, a group of people usually have a preference or prohibition against certain types of food.Unlike in a mention in some countries, in Indonesian, the word diet is more often intended to refer to an attempt to lose weight or adjust the intake of certain nutrients. This article will discuss about the diet in the second sense.
Diet in the context of efforts to regulate nutrient intake is divided into several types, namely:
- Lose Weight, for example for a model or actress who wants to maintain its appearance.
- Weight Gain Increases for example for sports or bodybuilding athletes who want to increase muscle mass.
- Abstinence Against Certain foods such as for diabetics (low-carb and sugar).
